Our goal for the Epic Kayaks V10 Double was very similar to our goal when we introduced the V10 single surfski. We wanted to design a boat faster than anything existing in the class, while still making it user-friendly enough that a large number of people could enjoy it. The V10 Double is suitable for one expert and one novice in moderate conditions, great for two experts in advanced conditions, or two intermediate/advanced paddlers in moderate conditions, but not suitable for two novices (beginning paddlers would be better on the V8 Double). It is an extremely fast boat and has won many races in the double surfski division around the world!

The seat is very comfortable and ergonomics are superior with the cut outs to allow a closer paddle stroke. Bailers are standard in both cockpits, allowing quick drainage when needed, with the option to close them and give a dry cockpit with decreased drag in flat conditions
Jim and Sarah McKay on their V10 Double off Honolulu
"We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Epic V10 Double! We've had it for almost 2 years. It's the perfect blend of speed and stability. We love that we can get on the water together in the same boat. We both have a background in flatwater sprint kayaking, so the V10 double is versatile in all types of water conditions and the closest to a K-2, yet ocean worthy."
