With a modern, efficient, computer-aided hull design featuring specs of 18’ x 21.25”, the Epic Kayaks V8 is unique in its class. Fast, yet extremely stable, this is a surfski that most kayakers can hop on and paddle off. It features the elegant simplicity of our more elite-level surfskis like the V10 and V12, with a narrow forward deck for a close catch on the forward stroke, and a fully adjustable ergonomic footbrace.

Our goal with the V8 is to provide a surfski for those new to the sport that is a go-fast, get-fit and have-fun boat! By blending speed, high stability and performance-oriented deck & outfitting, the V8 offers unparalled levels of accessibility, safety and opportunity. If you want to get into downwind paddling, the V8 flies across the waves! And it's easy to remount in the event of a capsize, a very important aspect of open water paddling.

For fitness paddlers, endurance racers who want extra emphasis on stability, touring kayakers looking to make the transition to surfskis, or cruisers looking for a simple, efficient boat for a day on the water - the V8 will take you there. The V8 incorporates several features that add to its user-friendly appeal: molded in bow, stern and side carry-handles, a water bottle holder in the cockpit and rear deck bungeees. The Epic bailer, breather plug and Epic surfski rudder configurations are standard.
